Naga Cauliflower Steaks
Vegan recipe with cauliflower, chilli sauce, cumin and coriander
Preparation time approx. 30 min.
Ingredients (serves 2):
- 1 large cauliflower
- 2 teaspoons Naga Chilli Sauce
- 1 teaspoon cumin, ground
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- 100 ml water
- small handful fresh coriander
- small handful almond flakes
Directions:
Pre heat oven to gas 6/200°C/ 392°F.
Cut the cauliflower into one inch slices.
In a bowl place the cumin, salt, oil, water, Naga Chilli Sauce and mix together. Use a pastry brush to smear over the cauliflower steaks.
Place the steaks onto a baking tray, place in the oven and cook for 30 minutes.
Whilst the cauliflower is cooking, place the almonds in a frying pan and dry fry them until nicely browned, set aside. Chop the fresh coriander.
Once the steaks are cooked sprinkle with the coriander and toasted almonds. Serve with basmati rice or flatbreads.
