Recipe for fruity Pineapple-Chilli-Lassi
With this drink, summer can come and you can enjoy it to the full. Fresh pineapple, hot chilli and the finest spices create a taste explosion that you won`t forget in a hurry-
Ingredients for 2 - 3 portions:
1 piece of ginger root (to taste)
1 pinch of salt
1 tsp honey
250 ml kefir
1 pineapple
2 pinches of turmeric
1 pinch curry powder
2 pinches chilli powder
1 tbsp coconut flakes
Preparation:
Peel the ginger and grate very finely. Grind the ginger with the salt, sugar, chilli and ginger in a mortar and pestle to a fine paste. You don`t need all of the pineapple, but fresh pineapple simply tastes better. Cut the pineapple in half and put half of it straight into the fridge.
Set a slice of the pineapple aside for decoration, peel the rest and cut into small pieces.
Then pour the kefir, yoghurt and ginger paste into a deep cup, add about 100 g of pineapple and the coconut flakes and blend well with a magic wand.
If the lassi is too sweet or too firm, add a little water. Pour the finished lassi over ice, garnish with the pineapple and serve.
