Chili mustard

Our chili mustard is made using the finest mustard seeds, wine vinegar and very hot chili powder. You’d be wrong to think you could just add water, spices and salt and create a tasty mustard. It might seem easy to make mustard, however it is actually very complex. It’s very important to find the right degree of fine grinding and to follow the precisely prescribed resting times for the mustard mash in order to guarantee achieving the desired degree of spiciness without any bitter aftertaste. Our chili mustard is not an industrial product, but rather is made in small batches in a local production facility.

Chili ketchup

You’ll notice the difference in our chili ketchup straight away. Many ketchups that can be found in high street shop seem closer to sugared water with red food colouring as opposed to a proper tomato ketchup. Our chili ketchup has a very high proportion of tomatoes and is refined with fresh chilies and other spices. Preservatives are absolute taboo for us and are unnecessary anyway thanks to the hot-filling process using glass bottles. Ketchups in plastic bottles usually contain a number of additives and are not neutral in taste. The amount of sugar in our chili ketchup has been reduced significantly in order to achieve a well-rounded, very intense flavour. We sell our chili ketchup in a range of different flavours and spice levels, such as chipotle, habanero and jolokia.

Chili seasoning pastes

Hot chili seasoning pastes are at home in any kitchen anywhere in the world. Whether it’s sambal oelek, chili paste, mojo rojo or chili aioli, each product can be used in a variety of different ways. Chili seasoning pastes are usually served in their pure form as part of the meal, e.g. chili aioli with prawns or mojo rojo (chili seasoning paste from the Canary Islands) with potatoes. Hot chili pastes are especially popular in Asian and Indian cuisines, where they are added directly to the sauce and cooked with everything else.
