Red Tabasco Chili Powder 1000g

The Tabasco chilli is known primarily as the basis of the world-famous Tabasco sauce from McIlhenny.
However, also as chili powder the Tabasco is a real all-round star in the kitchen, because it adds heat but not too much own flavour to the dishes. Red Tabasco chillies have a balanced "chili flavor", straight and without sweetness or bitterness. The typical fruity and slightly smoky flavour goes well with Tex-Mex dishes, but also with hearty stews and casseroles, chili con carne, goulash and red meats.

Easy to dose from medium to very hot. But be careful, this South American tabasco is considerably hotter than the commonly-known variety from the USA: 100,000 Scoville heat units – extremely hot!
