Whole Dried red Tabasco Chillies

Whole red Tabasco chillies are a rarity in Europe. Their main growing area is located in South America, where also the majority of Tabasco chillies are grown for the famous Tabasco sauce of the United States.

Tabasco chillies have a balanced "chili flavour", straight and without sweetness or bitterness.The taste of red Tabasco is fresh, fruity and with a slight acidity. The small chillies add a beautiful clear yellow colour to your preparations, as well as an intense spicy flavour.

The peppers can be crushed coarsely, finely ground or even used completely, e.g. by adding the whole dried chillies to a stew or soup.
