Freshly harvested, sun-drenched chillies grown on our own farm - cultivated close to our company`s location in the Palatinate region, also known as the Tuscany of Germany.

The Jalapeno Big Chilli is slightly larger than the "common" Jalapeno. Named after its place of origin, Jalapa (Veracruz) in Mexico, it is one of the best-known and most popular chillies in the world. Jalapeños are especially appreciated for their juicy, aromatic flesh. The fruit has a length of up to 8 cm with thick fleshy fruit walls and is noticeable for its typically rounded end. They often have a cracked, corked surface, which is even considered a sign of quality by Mexicans.

Fully ripe red jalapeños have a pleasant sweetness and are ideal for fresh consumption with their mild heat. They are also popular for cooking, stuffing, pickling and grilling.
