Aji Benito Chili Seeds
Info: The Aji Benito originates from Bolivia and comes from the Capsicum baccatum species. Typical for this type is the branched and protruding growth and a long flowering period with an abundant harvest. The fruits are long, approx. 3 x 6 cm, and ripen to an intense red. Due to their flavourful spiciness, Aji Benito chillies are particularly suitable for hot sauces, spicy pastes, for pickling and for drying.
Care: The germination temperature is between 21 und 28°C (7 - 20 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
