Nepalese Bell Chili Seeds
Info: The Nepalese Bell Chili has a similar bell-shape to the Bishops Crown Chili, but the fruits are larger and not as spicy. With good care, the plants can reach considerable proportions (up to 1.50 metres), are very high yielding and tolerate the Central European climate well. The light red fruits are fruity and flavourful and have a medium level of spiciness. They can be used in a variety of ways. They are suitable for fresh consumption, but also for cooking, stuffing, grilling and pickling.
Care: The germination temperature is between 20 und 28°C (7 - 20 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
