Cheyenne Chili Seeds
Info: The Cheyenne Chili is a dwarf chili, perfect for pot culture, even on the windowsill. The bushy, compact plants are only about 40 cm tall, but still prolific. The bright orange fruits look like pointed peppers and have a juicy and sour pepper flavour with a medium heat. The relaxed compact branching habit of Cheyenne plants make it a very attractive plant in the garden and it is a superb choice for pots and containers. This variety is one of the most productive, that we know and we use it for almost everything. The aromatic chillies are suitable for fresh consumption in salads, for filling, cooking, grilling and pickling.
Care: The germination temperature is between 22 und 28°C (8 - 20 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating pad is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
Tips for successful chili cultivation can be found in our Chili Cultivation Instructions and in the Chili Diary.
