Corn Cockle Seeds
Info: The corn cockle is a beautiful summer flower, unfortunately almost forgotten, with delicate, bright pink flowers. It used to grow on the edges of fields, but was not popular because of the toxicity of its seeds. Today it is on the red list and is again a component of many wildflower mixtures.
Sowing & care: Sowing starts in March or September after the seeds have ripened. After distribution, cover the seeds thinly with soil and keep them moist. If you reseed every 4 weeks, the flowering time will be extended. Corn cockles like a sunny location and a well-drained soil with a moderately high nutrient content.
