Carnation Violet Seeds

Info: Carnation Violet is not as long-stalked as other varieties, but the double flowers have a charming scent and a pretty purple colour. The flowers look beautiful not only in the garden and in pots and tubs, but also in romantic bouquets.

Carnations originate from the Western Balkans and are small perennial perennials. In Central Europe, however, they are mainly cultivated only for one year.

Sowing & care: Sowing starts in pre-culture from March in pots or trays. Only cover lightly with soil, press and keep moist. From mid-May, plant out at a spacing of 20-25 cm. The flowers become larger when the side buds are broken out. Carnations prefer a sunny location and a nutrient-rich soil.
