Viper`s Burgloss Seeds

Info: Viper`s burgloss carries its name from its flower shape, which is supposed to remind of the head of a viper. The flowers have a beautiful play of colours from pink-violet to a strong blue and attract a variety of insects and wild bees. It is ideal for dry corners in gardens and meadows. The viper`s burgloss is a widespread meadow and roadside plant in Central Europe.

Sowing & care: The seeds are simply scattered outdoors. If it is sown in autumn, it will flower next spring, and if it is sown in spring, it will not flower until the following year. The plants develop a deep taproot and cannot be transplanted. The viper`s burgloss prefers a dry, nutrient-poor and permeable soil in a full sunny location. Avoid waterlogging and fertilizer application.
