Sunflower Skyscraper Seeds

Info: Sunflower Skyscraper is a real giant among the sunflowers. The plants can reach heights of 350 cm and more. The bright yellow flowers are up to 30 cm across. Accordingly, this variety needs a wind-protected location, support and regular fertilizing. Then they delight the hobby gardener with abundant flowers and high yields of sunflower seeds.

Sowing & care: Sowing takes place directly from April outdoors. Sowing depth is about 1cm at a distance of 40-60 cm. A pre-culture in the house is also possible and brings an earlier bloom. Sunflowers like a sunny, wind-protected location and a loamy, nutrient-rich garden soil, which may also contain some sand for better drainage. They do not like waterlogging because then they tend to root rot. Sunflowers need many nutrients and are grateful for fertilizer or nettle liquid manure.
