Sunflower Titan Seeds

Info: Sunflower Titan is one of the tallest, largest headed and seeded sunflower varieties to grow. This amazing plant grows over 4 m tall with flower heads up to 60 cm across. The produce extra-large seeds that are great for roasting. This variety needs a wind-protected location, support and regular fertilizing.
Sunflowers are grateful and undemanding garden flowers, which are particularly beautiful as background plants. These vibrant blooms are also known to attract an array of beneficial insects to the garden as well, such as butterflies, bumblebees, honeybees and birds.

Sowing & care: Sowing takes place directly from April outdoors. Sowing depth is about 1cm at a distance of 40-60 cm. A pre-culture in the house is also possible and brings an earlier bloom. Sunflowers like a sunny, wind-protected location and a loamy, nutrient-rich garden soil, which may also contain some sand for better drainage. They do not like waterlogging because then they tend to root rot. Sunflowers need many nutrients and are grateful for fertilizer or nettle liquid manure.
