White Dead-Nettle Seeds
Info: The white dead-nettle is a nettle without stinging hair and a traditional medicinal herb for diseases of the upper respiratory tract and intestinal diseases. The leaves and flowers of the dead-nettle can also be used to create delicious dishes. The pretty plants also do well in the wild herb garden and are a good bee pasture and fodder plant for butterflies, bumblebees and beetles.
Sowing & cultivation: Sow directly outdoors from October to March. The seeds need some time with low temperatures to germinate. Place the seeds only superficially on the ground and cover them barely (light germinator). The white dead-nettle prefers a semi-shady to shady location on nutrient-rich, moist garden soil (nitrogen indicator). It is hardy and has a high frost tolerance.
