Brandywine Black Tomato Seeds
Info: The Brandywine Black tomato is a juicy, flat-round beefsteak tomato with dark red, brown to black colouration from the USA. Its flavour is intensive and unusual - reminiscent of wine. It is therefore excellent for fresh consumption. The plants grow up to approx. 150 - 180cm, are robust and tolerant of the cold, and produce fruits even at low temperatures. The dark colouring comes from the pigment Anthocyanin, which prevents heart disease.
Care: You can grow the Brandywine Black tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.

Wunderbare Tomate
