Chocolate Stripes Tomato Seeds

The fruits ripen to a beautiful chocolate brown colour with green and orange stripes, are slightly ribbed and weigh up to approx. 200 g. The flavour has a fine sweetness and a balanced slight sourness. They are excellent for use in salads, fresh consumption, and for cooking. As the tomatoes ripen relatively late, it is recommended to grow them in a protected space.

Care: You can grow the Chocolate Stripes tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.

Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
