Craigella Tomato Seeds

Info: The Craigella tomato was bred in Scotland around 1930 and is a cross between Ailsa Craig and Tigerella. The plants can reach a high of 2 metres and produce many red, round fruits of approx. 50 - 80 g in weight. Due to their firm fruit flesh they are suitable for use in an English Breakfast with fried tomatoes. Additionally, they are juicy and sweet and enrich every salad.

Care: You can grow the Craigella tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.

Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
