Info: Pumpkin `Musquée de Provence` is an outstanding variety, beautiful and of excellent flavour. It produces large semi flat scallop type fruits, which weigh up to 10 kg. Its skin turns from green to a greyish golden brown on maturity and the thick flesh has a dense orange colour and is of excellent flavour. In France, cut wedges are sold in supermarkets and farmers` markets for cooking.

Sowing & cultivation: Pumpkin plants need a lot of space as creeping plants and a good nutrient supply. The soil should therefore be profound and nutritious. From mid-May can be sown directly into the open field. Depending on the variety a plant needs up to 2m² of space. Abundant irrigation is very important, especially in the beginning.
