Arrabbiata Spice Mix

With our Arrabbiata Spice Mix you can conjure up a delicious penne or spaghetti all`arrabbiata in next to no time. Make Italian pasta quickly and easily.

"Penne all`arrabbiata" translates as "passionately angry pasta" and are a traditional Italian pasta dish made using red hot chili peppers. And it really is true, depending on how much chili is used, it can really "bite" the eater.

How to use

Finely chop an onion and fry in olive oil. Add a tablespoon of tomato purée and a pinch of brown sugar. Add tomatoes, the San Marzano variety if possible, and the Arrabbiata spice mix and simmer for 30 minutes. Works best with spaghetti.
