Edora`s Game Seasoning is an aromatic mixture or whole herbs and spices to be used in a game marinade made with buttermilk with lemon juice, vinegar or red wine. The combination of intense flavours such as juniper berries and bay leaves harmonises well with the aromatic Mediterranean herbs and dried vegetables.

Soaking game meat (venison, wild boar etc.) in such a marinade gives it a milder flavour and a more tender texture. Meat from older animals in particular should be marinated, as it may give off a very strong gamey flavour otherwise.
