Piment d`Espelette jelly is a delicious and original speciality from the French Basque Country. It is made from the aromatic, fruity chilli rarity Piment d`Espelette AOP, which can only bear this name if it comes from the Espelette region in the south of France.

Gelée de Piment d`Espelette is a great idea with cheese (whether hard cheese, Camembert and especially Basque sheep`s cheese), cold meat or foie gras. But it also makes a perfect start to the day as a soloist on crispy buttered toast for breakfast.
