Linguine

Linguine means "little tongue" in Italian. The noodles have the same length as a spaghetti but are flat and have the shape of a tongue with flattened edges.

Linguine are suitable for almost every pasta sauce - whether fleshy meat sauces, cream sauces, pestos or aglio, olio e acciughe (garlic, oil, anchovies and parsley). Linguine go also very well with veal, poultry or small meatballs.

Cooking time 9-11 minutes.
Make the bite test just before the end of the cooking time: Linguine are perfect when they are no longer hard, but just still al dente.
