Organic Whole Long Grain Rice 1kg

This popular whole grain rice contains all the valuable ingredients of the rice grain and becomes fluffy and grainy when cooked.

The long grain brown rice or whole grain rice is only dehusked after cleaning, so it still has its germ and silverskin.

Long-grain rice is excellent for frying, casseroles, as a side dish but also as breakfast rice.

Davert`s wholemeal long-grain rice is grown organically and dynamically by Indian smallholder families in the "Khaddar" project at the foot of the Himalayas. They have been in direct contact with the Fairtrade-certified rice cooperative since 2001. The rice farmers there benefit both from the contractually fixed minimum prices and from the friendly cooperation.
