Hot Lime Pickle is a spicy, sour-hot mixture that tastes distinctly of limes and Indian spices such as mustard, coriander and cumin. Basically just like the delicious sauces in Indian restaurants, except that there they usually serve sweet mango pickle and not lime pickle.

Indian pickles are made from cooked fruit/vegetables, blended with a spice mix to create a spicy side dish traditionally served with Indian dishes or with pappadams. Chilli pickles are also suitable as a garnish for other dishes such as salads, grilled meats, cold cuts or hamburgers. Mixed with yoghurt, the pickles make a hearty dip.
