Info: The most common use of white mustard is the use of mature seeds for the production of mustard. But even the young, fresh leaves can be used much like cress. Since the whole mustard seeds have a conservative effect, they can also be used for pickling or marinating. The white mustard is also used in general folk medicine. Sinapis alba helps with indigestion or heartburn. In addition, white mustard is an excellent green manure plant due to its fast growth and widely branched roots.

Sowing & cultivation: The sowing can be done from March directly into the field. Either you sow wide-brimmed or in rows with a row spacing of 30cm. The sowing depth should be 1-2 cm. The mustard is very easy to clean, so it makes no special demands on soil or location. Optimal would be a sunny location with permeable, humus soil.
