The Salsa Barbecue Chipotle, Whiskey & Serrano is the Italian interpretation of a barbecue sauce. With its rich colour, delicious, spicy chipotle flavour and a hint of tart whiskey, it is perfect for enhancing grilled meats and burgers. The sauce is also delicious as a dip for crisps, tortilla chips and nachos.

Chipotle is a spice widely used in Mexican cuisine that is obtained by smoking jalapeños for a long time.

About Carmazzi / Mr. PIC:

The family business Azienda Agricola Carmazzi in Tuscany exists for 100 years and has specialised in the organic production of chilli peppers and hot products (Mr. PIC), among other things, since the 1970s. They collaborate with the Italian Accademia del Peperoncino of the University of Pisa and have already bred their own chilli varieties (e.g. Magma®, Judgement Day®, Erotico®). Since 2011, Carmazzi has organised the Italian PEPERONCINO DAY in Viareggio with exhibitions, tastings, show cooking and more.
