Lemon Drop Chili Flakes 1kg

The Lemon Drop Chili origins from South America and is very popular due to its intense citrus flavour. It is also known as ají limo or hot lemon, and its chili peppers are elongated, thin-walled, and ripen to a luminescent yellow. Correspondingly, the chili flakes have also a bright yellow colour.

In South America the Lemon Drop chili flakes are traditionally used to season salsas and sauces as well as grilled guinea pig (cuy). Due to the lemony taste the flakes are also ideal for fish, chicken and white meat.

Shelf Life / Storage

Store in a cool, dry, dark and airtight place.

How to use

Der Vorteil von Chiliflocken ist, dass man sie gut dosieren und über das Essen streuen kann. Sie geben im Mund zunächst ihr volles Chili-Aroma ab, wirken aber noch nicht so stark auf die Schmerznerven. Ihre volle Schärfe entwickeln sie erst im Magen. Werden die Chiliflocken allerdings mitgekocht, geben sie dabei ihre volle Schärfe an das Gericht ab.
