Red Ancho Chili Powder

Ancho Chili is called the dried red Poblano pepper, one of the most popular chillies in Mexico. It is relatively mild and its colour varies from a dark brick red to mahogany.

Ancho chillies are very aromatic and sweet, with a fruity flavour with tones of dried plums, coffee, tobacco, licorice and raisin. This peppers rich sweetness has a mellowing effect on mexican dishes and add that certain something to stews, soups, meat and vegetable dishes.

Angenehme Schärfe

Sehr gutes Chilipulver mit geringer, leicht prickelnder Schärfe. Vollmundiger, leicht erdig-rauchiger Geschmack. Kam sehr gut in meinem Chili con Carne. Werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen.
