Thai Red Chili Seeds
Info: The Thai Red Chili is very popular in Asian cuisine and this small, spicy chili is becoming more frequently used here as well. Numerous small, red, long chilies, which have a decent level of spiciness, grow on the approx. 90 cm large plants. As the chilies are very thin-walled, they are good for drying and making into a powder. The fresh chilies are ideal for cooking and pickling.
Care: The germination temperature is between 21 und 28°C (7 - 21 day germination period), therefore the use of agreenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
Tips for successful chili cultivation can be found in our Chili Cultivation Instructions and in the Chili Diary.
