Golden Greek Peperoncini Chili Seeds
Info: Peperoncini is the general term for chilies in Italy. The Golden Greek Peperoncini is a very well-known and flavourful variety which is used around the world, often on pizza or döner kebabs to give the food the right kick. The plants are bushy, reach up to approx. one metre in height, and tolerate the central European climate very well. They develop numerous long chilies which ripen from green to yellow/brown to red. They are frequently harvested in their yellow-green state. They are suitable for fresh consumption, in salads, for pickling, stuffing and grilling.
Care: The germination temperature is between 20 und 28°C (7 - 20 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
