Aji Dulce Amarillo Chili Seeds
Info: The Aji Dulce Amarillo Chili is a fantastic Chinense variety with almost no spiciness, but with a fine Habanero flavour. The plants can grow very large (over 1 metre) and are very high yielding. They develop many small, round, wrinkly, bright golden yellow fruits. An ultra-tasty chili marmalade can be made from the fruits, which has a fantastic apricot flavour. They are also excellent for use in salads and snacks, as well as for fresh consumption.
Care: The germination temperature is between 21 und 28°C (8 - 20 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost. If you plant them outdoors, the plants should have a distance between them of 45 cm.
Tips for successful chili cultivation can be found in our Chili Cultivation Instructions and in the Chili Diary.
