7 Pot Brown Chili Seeds
Info: The 7 Pod Chilies (or also 7 Pot) are some of the hottest chillies around, and lack nothing in comparison to the Bhut Jolokia or the Trinidad Scorpion. They get their name from the fact that one chili should be enough to spice up 7 cooking pots.
In their shape the fruits resemble Habaneros, but have an uneven surface. This Variety ripens from lime green to brown and has a fruity flavour. Due to their thin walls, the chilies are suitable for drying and making into powder. They are also suitable for fruity, spicy sauces.
Please wear disposable gloves when handling the chilies.
Care: The germination temperature is between 24 und 30°C (10 - 22 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. As the plants have a particularly long maturation period, it is recommended to grow them in a pot, so that you can easily bring the plant inside when the temperature falls below 12°C during the day, allowing all the fruits to ripen. To keep the plant over the winter, cut it back by 20cm after harvesting and place in a light place where it is at least 15°C.
