Füszer Csipüs Chili Seeds
Info: The Füszer Csipüs Chili pepper is a Hungarian heirloom and an indispensable part of Hungarian cuisine. The slender, elongated and thin-walled pods ripen bright red and have a mild heat. While this pepper can be eaten fresh or made into sauces, it really would be a shame. This pepper lends itself best to what has been practiced in Hungary for centuries - drying the pepper and making a superb paprika powder. The plants are hardy and productive and may require supporting.
Care: The germination temperature is between 20 und 28°C (7 - 21 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
