Fresno Chili Seeds
Info: The Fresno Chili is a popular breeding from the USA which resembles the Jalapeno in both appearance and flavour, but has somewhat thinner fruit walls. This variety is very widespread, has an enormous yield and is usable in a variety of ways. The chilies have a fantastic flavour and can be eaten in both their green and red states. They are suitable for spicy dishes, for salsas, for fresh consumption as well as for grilling, pickling and cooking. In South and Central America they are used to make the traditional Ceviche, a fish dish.
Care: The germination temperature is between 20 und 28°C (7 - 20 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
