Feuerküsschen Red Chili Seeds
Feuerküsschen Red Chili Seeds
Info: The Feuerküsschen Red Chili is a rare German breed and is the spicy relative of the Naschzipfel. The plants are small and are therefore good for cultivation in pots or on the windowsill. They develop long, upright chilies which grow in bundles and ripen from green to yellow to orange/red. The chilies are not only decorative - they taste great as well. With their moderate level of spiciness they are suitable for medium-spicy dishes like salsas, sauces and dips, but are also good for drying.
Care: The germination temperature is between 21 und 28°C (8 - 20 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
