Facing Heaven Yellow Chili Seeds

Info: The Facing Heaven Yellow Chili originates from China. It gets its name due to the fact that its long yellow chillies grow upright in bundles. The plants grow bushy and are high yielding. The yellow chillies have a medium level of spiciness, and are often used in the Chinese Sichuan cuisine. They have a slight lemon flavour, and are therefore excellent for many dishes with fish or chicken as well as Asian cuisine. When dried they are traditionally added to the dishes whole.

Care: The germination temperature is between 21 und 28°C (7 - 20 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
