Little Elf Chili Seeds

Info: The Little Elf Chili is a beautiful small ornamental chili with fruits shining in many different colours. The upright, about 2-3 cm long chillies ripen from green to yellow, purple, orange and red.  The pods in different ripening states are at the same time on the plant, resulting in a beautiful play of colours. The variety is quite small and therefore very suitable for pot culture on the balcony or window sill. The pots are realtively hot and good for fresh eating, cooking, drying and pickling.

Care: The germination temperature is between 22 und 28°C (8 - 20 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
