Spanish Pepper red Chili Seeds
Information: Our Spanish Pepper Red is a beautiful chilli variety with longish, juicy and flavourful pods. They ripen from green to a bright red and have a medium heat. The plants are relatively robust and can even be cultivated quite well in the garden. They can reach a height of up to one metre. The name Spanish pepper indicates that it is a heirloom variety, since the first plants came to Europe shortly after the discovery of America by the Spaniards and were therefore called "Spanish pepper".
Care: Germination temperature is between 22°C and 28°C (germination period: 8-21 days); it is therefore recommended to use a greenhouse and a heating mat. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
