Facing Heaven Red Chili Seeds
Information: The Facing Heaven Red Chili originates from China. It gets its name due to the fact that its small red chillies grow upright in bundles. The plants grow bushy and are high yielding. The red chillies have a medium level of heat, and are often used in Chinese Sichuan cuisine. They have a slight lemon flavour, and are therefore excellent for many dishes with fish or chicken as well as Asian cuisine. When dried they are traditionally added to the dishes whole.
Care: Germination temperature is between 21°C and 28°C (germination period: 7-20 days); it is therefore recommended to use a greenhouse and a heating mat. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
