Turks Cap Chili Seeds
Info: The Turks Cap Chilli is a really extraordinary looking chilli that resembles a crumpled pointed cap. The chillies ripen to a bright red, have a fruity flavour somewhat reminiscent of limes and a fiery heat. The plants grow to about 80 cm tall and are sprawling, so they need a large container. However, they are also suitable for growing outdoors (only in a very sheltered, sunny location).
Care: The germination temperature is between 20 und 28°C (7 - 21 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
