Eureka Chili Seeds
Info: The Eureka chilli is a compact growing, high-yielding plant with bunches of upright, bright red ripening pods. As the plants grow small and compact (30-40cm), they are ideal for indoor-growing on a windowsill or outdoors on the balcony in summer. The fruits are produced in abundance held above the foliage with colours of purple, oranges and red all at the same time. The chillies have a decent heat and a typical chilli flavour. As the pods are very thin-walled, they are well suited for drying and powder production. Fresh pods are used for cooking and pickling.
Care: The germination temperature is between 20 und 28°C (7 - 21 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
