Jamaican Yellow Chili Seeds
Info: The Jamaican Yellow Chili is a typical Jamaican chili variety with an intensely fruity flavour and decent level of spiciness. The plants are compact and bushy with thick foliage, and grow up to approx. 90 cm. The lantern-shaped, slightly wrinkled fruits ripen to a bright yellow, and are thin walled and juicy. The flavour is reminiscent of apricots and citrus fruits. The chillies are excellent for making hot sauces and salsas, as well as for pickling and drying.
Care: The germination temperature is between 22 und 28°C (8 - 22 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
