Kung Pao Chili Seeds
Information: Kung Pao Chili comes from Southeast Asia and is a popular red chili, which is not only characterized by an intense heat, but also by its excellent taste. It is perfect for Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. They are used fresh for cooking or drying. The plants are productive and the chillies mature relatively early.
A typical Chinese dish of Szechuan cuisine called Chicken Kung Pao is a delicious combination of marinated fried chicken, roasted peanuts, kung pao chillies and Szechuan pepper.
Care: Germination temperature is between 22°C and 28°C (germination period: 8-21 days); it is therefore recommended to use a greenhouse and a heating mat. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
