Criolla Sella Chili Seeds
Information: The Criolla Sella Chili comes from Bolivia and belongs to the species Capsicum baccatum. The plants grow expansively, but branch out in an early stage in contrast to other tree chili varieties and can grow up to 1.60 m tall. Also suitable for planting in the field. They bear lots of orange chillies that can grow up to 6 cm in length and have an intense heat with a slightly fruity taste. Ideal for making sauces, salsas and powders.
Care: Germination temperature is between 22°C and 28°C (germination period: 8-21 days); it is therefore recommended to use a greenhouse and a heating mat. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
