Info: Calendula Orange King is a marigold with bright orange flowers that are lightly filled. Growing calendula (Marigold) is a wonderful enrichment in the garden. It provides a spectacular display of light yellow to deep orange blooms from early summer until frost. It is easy to grow and it self-sows yearly in many gardens and don`t mind crowding.
Calendula is an ancient healing plant whose antiseptic, healing and detoxifying properties are mainly used in nourishing skin products or in ointments against ulcers, varicose veins and bruises.
Sowing & Cultivation: Calendula is easy to grow. Sow directly in the garden from March / April. Marigold likes full sun to partial shade and a nutrient-rich, damp and clayey soil. Pinch off spent flowers on a regular basis to extend the blooming period.
