Poached Egg Plant Seeds
Info: The Poached Egg Flower has its name because its five petals are white with a yellow ground and together look like a small poached egg. The flowers reach a maximum height of about 15 centimeters and grow quite quickly. They are therefore ideal as ground cover and for garden beds, as well as decorative spots of colour in rock gardens. If you have a garden pond, place the plants near the shore: the flowers will thank you for the rather damp soil, which usually prevails here.
Sowing & cultivation: By the end of November you can sow the seeds in pots as pre-culture - this will give you earlier flowering next spring. After the last frost you can plant the plants in the garden. The Poached Egg Flower is best grown on moist, fresh, humus soil and in a semi-shade location. It does not tolerate drought.
