Sweet Pea Mollie Rilestone Seeds
Info: Sweet pea Mollie Rilstone has very fragrant cream coloured blooms which are edged with the softest rose-pink. The flowers look like little frills and add a romantic touch to every bouquet. Extremely popular for weddings.
The sweet pea is a popular ornamental plant and as a climbing plant a great fence greening. They belong to the papilionaceous family and form beautiful flowers from pink to white to blue. Sweet Peas flower longer if flower shoots for the vase or dead flowers are removed very regularly. When the first seeds ripen, the development of new flowering shoots decreases. Attention: the seeds are poisonous when consumed. The variety Mrs. R. Bolton is a slightly fragrant variety with very beautiful large flowers in magenta to light pink.
Sowing & Cultivation: It is advisable to soak the seeds beforehand or even let them pre-germinate. It is also possible to sow them directly in the field from mid-April, preferably next to a fence. If they have enough space for climbing, they can reach a height of 220 cm. They like a nutrient-rich, permeable soil and a sunny to semi-shade location.
