Daisy - Brachyscome Swan River Mix Seeds
Info: The daisy variety Brachyscome Swan River Mix is strictly speaking not a blue flowering daisy, but originates from Australia and was introduced as a garden plant for Europe in the 1980s. It is only called daisy because it looks similar to the native European daisy, but botanically it is a completely different species.
Swan River Daisy grows about 30 cm high and has white, blue or purple flowers, each with a beautiful dark centre. The mixed varieties look particularly good when planted in flower beds, balcony boxes or pots.
Sowing & care: Sowing takes place from March in pre-culture or from the end of April in the open when the danger of frost is over. The Australian daisy tolerates a full sunny location and likes light, permeable soils without waterlogging.
