Nasturtium `Jewel of Africa` Seeds
Info: The nasturtium `Jewel of Africa` is a colourful mix of yellow, orange and red flowers and green-white marbled leaves. The tendrils can grow up to 3 m long and should either have a trellis with many crossbars or a fence to grow. The foliage is dense and the flowers appear tirelessly until frost.
All nasturtium cresses have round leaves which, with their peppery taste, add a delicious accent to salads. The flowers are also edible and a real eye-catcher on the plate. The not yet ripe seed capsules can be inserted.
Sowing & care: Sowing either from March in pre-culture or from mid-April outdoors. Press the seeds approx. 1 cm deep into the growing soil. As this nasturtium is very tendrilous, you should give it a place on a fence or a trellis to tendril. The tendrils can be up to 3 m long. Nasturtium likes a sunny location and the more nutritious the soil, the less it blooms. This variety sows itself.
